Imagine Deliver

Where We Start

This was a week of whiteboards and markers. I worked with a great group of people this week, and we found our results by collaborating through research and observation. We produced a video and a recommendations report at the culmination point of our time together.  Andrew, Haley, Kevin, and Brennan were all great collaborators, and you should look for links to all of their work to see the full scope of the project.

Goals and Objectives

Our Client, Imagine Deliver, is a consultancy whose focus is creating a more inclusive workplace through analyzing behavior and advocating for systematic change. They want to position themselves as thought leaders in a wider context. What that means is that they want their well reasoned and practical ideas to reach deep into the corporate structure of the USA, and fundamentally change workplaces to make them more equitable and inclusive.

Phase 1

Compare and contrast

Comparative Audit

As a group we looked at a variety of websites and compared features, content, and organizational statements to look for gaps that defined the current state of the customers website.

Prototype

The next step was to look at all of the information we had collected, and compare it to what we learned about the client. By doing this we find our problem space.

The Artist Residency

I took this information and decided that a good way to reach CEO’s and business decision makers, was to find them culturally.

  • To the right you see my concept for an artist residency.

  • The thought leaders at Imagine Design would collaborate with artists to create spaces where ideas could meet in the abstract.

  • The goal of the Residency was to create spaces in and around the art communities of Minneapolis/Saint Paul where our client could meet art buyers and aficionados who could connect them and their ideas with business decision makers.

But, not all ideas fit into the scope of a greater project, so my Artist in residency collaboration program wasn’t continued past this point. Whether the idea was too indescribable for the group, or too much of an undertaking to add to the final product and do the idea justice, it was better for the group to take a more conventional approach. I needed to pivot and find other work to direct my energy toward. So, as our group created a user journey, I looked for a segment of the project to take on. I had already committed to producing the video for the team, but I also had time to update proposed features of the website in figma.

Phase 2

Touchpoint Map and Persona

After talking to a CEO about their life and where they feel their time is spent, we were able to create a persona that we felt was grounded in reality. Along with the persona we created a story that would take our ceo through an experience of discovery with Imagine design.

 Phase 2

Resources page update

To show a part of our users journey I took on a redesign of the resources page for Imagine Deliver. For our user to engage with Imagine Deliver and the truths they are trying to speak into the world, Imagine Deliver needs to have content that is easily accessible.

Phase 3

Video Storyboard and video

To reach the client with a variety of information we produced a video and a findings report. In our video we tell the story of a CEO, Celine. While she is traveling she finds Imagine Deliver while doing some research. She discovers the webpage and all the new content that we’ve suggested. This leads to Celine becoming a customer of Imagine Deliver, and ultimately changing the world.
